I hope everyone have a wonderful long weekend!

Last week, the classroom was filled with excitement from the anticipation of Easter arriving!

This week should be lots of fun too because we will be inviting 48 worms into our class! Of course they will be hanging out in their critter container, but we will be taking out to explore the wonders of these slimy creatures! The children and I watch them tunnel through layers of sand and soil, keep them happy by feeding them scrap fruits and veggies from our snacks, and ensuring their habitat is kept moist and comfortable. They'll also learn about the important job these little guys have - enrich our soil for healthy plant growth.

Speaking of plants, we'll start some simple planting next week. Beans and flowers are what we'll try our green thumbs at!

For now, we're focusing on this week's program plan.
