Despite it being a 4-day school week, things did not slow down in our classroom last week! The children were very excited and kept busy participating in all of the various Easter-themed activities. Here are some of them in action!

With this being another 4-day school week, I've packed alot into our program plan. With Spring weather finally being unearthed, I thought it would be a perfect time for the children to learn about the life cycle of plants. On Tuesday, they will be decorating their individual seed pots and then on Wednesday they will plant green bean and Zinnia. Over the coming days, we'll watch the beauty of nature come alive as the seeds sprout, develop into seedlings and finally grow into mature plants. Once they are sturdy enough to be transported, the children will get to take their plants home. If you wish for them to continue developing, they can be transplanted into flower pots or garden beds. You may even get some green beans to eat!
On Thursday, Ms. Jane will be with us for Yoga & Mindfulness Enrichment.
