Last week's Famous Artists Inspired piece the children created was Van Gogh's Tournesols (Sunflowers). To get this very cool result, they used a combination of techniques such as painting with forks and stamping with bubble wrap.

We're wrapping up this series with one of my favourites, Andy Warhol's Flowers. Warhol used a silkscreen printing technique and added layers of colour by hand to produce his Flowers series. A little complicated for 3-year olds, so we're using paint and construction paper cut-outs to design ours. Here is the original series.

It's finally starting to feel like Spring! Guess what we'll have at our Science table this week? Worms! Lots of wriggly, jiggly worms to explore and learn about!
Wednesday is our field trip to Runnymede Public Library.
On Thursday, we'll have a Yoga and Mindfulness session with Ms. Jane.
Friday is Pyjama Day! Don't forget to pack your children's stuffies and dolls!
