Feb 3 - 7
For our Famous Artists Series last week, the children created their own versions of Piet Mondrian's Composition with Red, Blue and Yellow. I love how the children chose their colours and even how they mixed the tempera paints to create new ones! This week, we're working on Henri Mattise's The Snail, which is a collage piece using colourful paper and glue.
Weather is our Science unit this week. We've already touched on what winter weather looks and feels like, and we'll continue exploring this unit by expanding our understanding of snow.
Dance Enrichment is this Tuesday.
We're starting to work on some fun Valentine's day projects later in the week. I can already feel the excitement that's to come!
