Last week, the children created their first art piece from our Famous Artists Series. I started them with a simple painting called Castle and Sun by Swiss artist, Paul Klee. They dipped geometric blocks into paint and stamped them on paper to create their own Castle and Sun art!
This week's famous artists piece called Composition with Red, Blue and Yellow by Piet Mondrian, will also reinforce shape recognition.
More of the children are showing interest in learning how to spell and print their names. We'll continue to work on this using a variety of engaging techniques.
On Thursday, Ms. Jane will lead us through another session of Yoga & Mindfulness. Here are the children in action during our last class!
