Mar 3 - 7
Our little students had a blast in school last week! With two birthdays and both Dance and Yoga Enrichment, it was a lively week!
The art piece inspired by a famous artist that the class worked on last week was Kandinsky's Concentric Circles. We took a different approach than Kandinsky to produce these works of art and they turned out great! We threw a bit of math learning in there too by working with various sizes when making their circle prints.

This week, the children will create their renditions of Pop Art by Andy Warhol. I'm feeling really good about this one and think the children will have a ton of fun working on it! With its vibrant colours and patterns, this form of artwork is always popular with children.
The children love when I do Science experiments at Circle Time, so I've got another one planned for this week. I think they will find it super cool!
