I didn't get a chance to take a photo of the seedlings that have sprouted from the Zinnia and green bean seeds the children recently planted, but they are growing well! Please take a look at them during drop-off and pick-up. The children are so proud of them! During Circle Time this Tuesday, we'll investigate the changes that have taken place with our plants over the past few days.

Last week the children used cardboard boxes, paint and construction paper to make buildings that they will arrange as a cityscape in our Blocks and Building Centre this week. With blocks to build roads with, people figurines, and road signs, I think the children will be very excited to play in this area of our classroom!

Small world activities have been popular with the children. I arranged a forest setting in our sand bin and dinosaurs at the playdough table for them to act out scenarios, build language and practice social skills.

This Wednesday, we'll be at High Park Nature Centre for a field trip. Please check the May News! email that was sent for details on time and drop-off/pick up procedures.

On Thursday, Ms. Jane is back for another session of Yoga & Mindfulness.
