May 8 - 12

The children are loving all of the nature-inspired work we've been doing in our classroom! We'll continue exploring all of the wonderful experiences Spring has to offer over the next couple of weeks.

Last week's field trip to High Park Nature Centre was a blast! Here are some pics highlighting our time there.

As an extension of the plants we've grown from seeds, on Monday, we'll do a Science activity where we'll grow a bean plant in a plastic bag, instead of soil. Over the coming week, we'll watch the roots emerge, and hopefully a sprout pop up! Wednesday, we'll make bird feeders and on Thursday, we'll head outdoors to fill them with seeds and hang them from the trees in the garden by our entrance. We'll take advantage of our outdoor time with a short nature walk as well.

Ms. Michelle will lead Dance Enrichment on Tuesday!
