Nov 18 - 22
Lots of process art was created in our classroom last week. Process art is open-ended, experiential and unstructured and the end result is not necessarily that important. The process is focussed on, not the product. Here are two examples of process art from last week that were inspired by one of my favourite young children's books, The Dot by Peter Reynolds!
This upcoming week, we'll work on more art inspired by popular children's stories - Scribble and Pete the Cat, I Love My White Shoes. The children will actually get to paint with shoes, but don't worry, we won't use their shoes!
Ms. Vanessa will be with us on Monday to shadow me. I think she will be a hit with the children!
On Thursday, we have Yoga Enrichment with Ms. Jane.
