I hope everyone had a great PA Day! Jodi, Isil and I had a very productive one, but I'm looking forward to a regular 5-day school week.
It's been group-play galore at TFP lately! I love seeing the children co-operate and collaborate.
The caterpillars I ordered have arrived and are set up at our Science centre for the class to observe. Over the coming weeks, we'll watch them go through the stages of metamorphosis and then we'll release them outside once they emerge as butterflies. I'm excited for the class to watch this remarkable transformation. As a tie-in to this Science until, I'm introducing the popular children's book, The Very Hungry Caterpillar, to support the children's learning. Many art, literacy and math activities related to this story will be available for the children to discover.
Don't forget to pack your children a lunch for Monday and Tuesday!
