Behind the Scenes
I’m sharing a few photos from our week. They capture some lovely moments, but they can’t always show the effort it takes to wait for a turn, listen when you’re eager to speak, or find words when you’re upset.
There’s a quote I love: “Kids do well if they can.” It reminds me that when a child is having a hard time, they need support with a skill they’re still learning. We understand how big these moments can feel when you’re three. This week, we’ve been practising taking turns, noticing our bodies and others’ space, listening, and expressing feelings with words.
These skills grow with guidance and practice, just as physical skills do. There will be wobbles. And when a child manages a pause, an “I need space,” or a request for a turn, that progress is worth celebrating alongside everything else they’re learning.
I hope you enjoy the photos.
Here’s my program plan for next week, too.
