You should have received this post in a different format, but just in case you didn't see it, I am resending it here!
Our classroom was buzzing with energy last week! It must be the anticipation of warmer weather and the longer periods of daylight that's triggering the everyone's enthusiasm and energy! Given the level of excitement, I've planned for more physical activities than usual this week. Circle Time games will be fairly active and our plan to remain outside after our practice fire drill on Monday is a good call. I'm so grateful for the mild weather we are expecting!
I'm starting to feel the inspiration that comes with the Spring season too, so I'm introducing a famous Claude Monet piece that beautifully captures this - his Water Lilies series depicts it perfectly! This is my favourite piece of the series and the one I've chosen to share with the children.

And check out what the children created last week with Andy Warhol's Pop Art as their inspiration. I LOVE the process behind these and the end result too!

Ms. Maggie will lead us through a Yoga & Mindfulness session on Monday.
A reminder that this is the last week of preschool before we head into March Break. We'll be back at it on March 23!
Here is the program plan for this week:
