The worms we had in our classroom were a huge hit with the children! They were fascinated watching them wiggle, explore and help us learn about soil and composting. We even did an art activity inspired by our new friends. Now we get to release them into the garden, so they can continue to do their wiggly work outdoors.

There's more nature-inspired learning heading our way this week! The children are going to decorate their own seedling pots on Monday. Then, they'll learn how to carefully plant green bean seeds and flower seeds. Over the coming weeks, they'll have the chance to watch their plants grow. Once they are hearty enough, I'll send them home, so they can continue to care for their plants. And who knows, maybe some will even develop green beans that they can eat!
We have Dance Enrichment with Ms. Michelle on Tuesday. Time to get our groove on again!
On Wednesday, we're taking the children outside for a Spring nature walk and exploration. It's supposed to be a warm, sunny day! While we're outside, we'll do our worm release and install the birdhouses we decorated last week on the trees. We'll be sure to get some photos to share!
