Week of Dec 15 - 19

Last week was a quieter one because a few of the children were away, but there was no shortage of activity! Check out the children in action!

Believe it or not, it's the last week of preschool before the Winter Holiday Break! I am excited to dress our classroom with the decorations the children made for our Holiday Party and to celebrate with everyone on Friday! I consider this party more than just a holiday one, but to be a celebration of the children's accomplishements so far in preschool. They have taken huge strides in their development and that calls for a bash!

On Monday, we have Yoga & Mindfulness with Ms. Maggie.

We did a "snowstorm in a jar" science experiment last week and the children were in awe. So cool! This week, we'll do another one that is just as magical. We'll see how dish soap reactes with the fat in milk, causing it to swirl dramatically. Ms. Jodi will be sure to capture this is a video.

We'll also do some activities centered around Hanukkah and of course Christmas.
