In last week's post, I mentioned we were going to start a unit on Feelings and Emotions, and I am really glad we did! We made the most out of it by introducing this topic at our Science table, through Art activities, and Circle Time discussions. I was surprised by how well the class expressed what makes them, happy, sad, angry, scared and worried!
Another week of exciting learning starts on Monday!
Knock, knock jokes have recently been introduced to our class and they've been a real hit. Laughter fills the classroom during Snack Time as the children tell their versions of the classics! So I thought, why not create a Circle Time where I tell funny riddles? Fingers crossed the group enjoys it!
Last week's unit on Feelings and Emotions ties in nicely to learning about our five senses - sight, sound, touch, taste and smell. This week, we'll begin with the senses of sight and sound.
Tuesday is Dance Enrichment!
Friday is a PA Day, so there won't be program for the children.
