Week of Sept 22 - 26

A unit of study we focused on last week was 'Colours and Colour Mixing'. There are various, play-inspired methods that can be used to teach children the names of colours, without using flash cards. Our class engaged in art, literacy and science activities to recall colours and learn what happens when you mix certain colours together. Check out what they were up to!

Tuesday was our 1st Dance Enrichment class with Ms. Michelle. The children had a ton of fun! Even those who weren't ready to get on the dance floor enjoyed watching. I look forward to introducing them to Ms. Maggie on Monday for Yoga and Mindfulness.

We'll continue identifying colours this week and will introduce 2-dimensional shapes into a few of our centre activities.

A reminder that Friday is a PA Day, so we will not run the program.
