Week of September 15 - 19

I'm very pleased to share that we had an awesome first full week of preschool! All of the children are superbly moving through the various transitions of the daily program; you'd think they've been going to school for weeks already! They were also excited to rotate through the different, daily activities set up in all areas of our classroom.

Khalid is improving his fine motor skills and working on basic Math abilities like counting and determining quantities.

We have another fun week planned! Our first Dance Enrichment is this Tuesday. I look forward to having Ms. Michelle lead us in a class of music and movement. We're also doing our first Science experiment together. There's been alot of talk about what colours mix together to make new ones, so I thought this would be a perfect week to introduce colours and colour mixing at our Science table and for one of our Circle Times.
